Psalm 97:7 & Hebrews 1 — Worship, angels, and the uniqueness of the Son.
Open your Bible to Psalm 97:7. Then read Hebrews 1:6. Notice how the New Testament quotes the Old Testament passage — and what it reveals about the Son.
Psalm 97:7 speaks of the “gods” (elohim) being commanded to worship Yahweh. The Septuagint (LXX) renders this as “Let all His angels worship Him,” which is the version quoted in Hebrews.
Hebrews applies this directly to Jesus, showing that the risen Son is not merely another heavenly being — He is the One whom the heavenly beings themselves worship.

This passage reinforces the Divine Council pattern: Jesus is superior to every spiritual being.
This passage connects to the broader supernatural storyline:
Together, these passages reveal a unified worldview: The risen Messiah is the rightful ruler of both heaven and earth.
